Howzat for a winning combination
Alchemy has been supporting the CPL as a digital partner since 2014, so the UK based team are bowled over to have won an extension to their contract. The contract win means that this year, in addition to maintaining the website with updates and search engine optimisation, Alchemy will be managing the 2017 CPL online activity and creating exciting social media campaigns combined with fan base building teasers and competitions.
The digital campaign will embrace the League’s infectious carnival atmosphere and kicks off with a ‘predict the team players’ competition this month, ahead of the players draft (#CPL17), which is to be drawn on 10th March.
On announcing the contract win, Caroline Smith, Head of Digital CPL, said, “We are thrilled to be extending our partnership with Alchemy. They have proven themselves to be a perfect partner for us, really understanding who we are and what we want to achieve. It’s exciting to be able to draw on even more of their expertise and having them manage the entire digital portfolio gives us peace of mind – allowing us to concentrate on the game(s) in hand!”
From her perspective Suzanne Wall, Marketing Director, at Alchemy, adds, “Our business has always grown organically – over the past 20 years we have managed more than 1000 projects and we are very proud to be able to say that these have all been triggered by recommendation or being invited to extend our remit for a client. It’s the ultimate endorsement and we are sure the CPL team will be impressed at the range of digital doors we can open for them.”
